Family Law is a branch of Civil Law. This area regulates relationships whose subject matter is the family as a legal institution. As such, it encompasses matters such as divorces, separations, parental measures (visitation rights), filiation, adoption, domestic partnerships, etc.
And although they only partially overlap and are not strictly within the same area from an academic standpoint, we could also include domestic violence, legal incapacitation proceedings, and donations.
We are specialists in Family Law. Notably, Francisco Orozco is currently pursuing his Doctorate at the University of Málaga within the Department of Civil Law. In developing his doctoral thesis, entitled «Surrogacy in Spain and its Legal Effects,» he has attended various Seminars and Conferences on Family Law, in addition to having read and written numerous publications on the subject.
